How to download your Datafast invoice
Datafast, like most small SaaS, charges through Stripe: each charge's invoice is downloaded from the Stripe customer portal, reachable from your account settings.
Step by step
- 1
Log into your Datafast account
Sign in at datafa.st and open your account or workspace settings.
- 2
Find the billing section
The plan/billing option takes you to manage your subscription in the Stripe customer portal.
- 3
Open the payment history
The Stripe portal lists each charge with its associated invoice.
- 4
Download the PDF invoice
Use “Download invoice” on the charge for the month you need.
Tips & edge cases
- Stripe emails the invoice on every charge; check your inbox if you'd rather not open the portal.
- Add your VAT ID in the Stripe portal's billing details for future invoices.
Stop downloading invoices by hand
Every month Severino logs into this portal (and your other providers'), downloads the PDFs and sends them to your accountant. You do nothing.
Tell us which one you use and we'll let you know when its guide (and Severino support) is available.
Frequently asked questions
Does Datafast issue a proper invoice for bookkeeping?
Yes, every charge generates a downloadable PDF invoice through Stripe, with whatever tax details you've configured.
Can I get it monthly without opening the portal?
Stripe emails it, and Severino can download it from the portal and forward it straight to your accountant.
